Are you holding the blog captive til we comment? =) I will do my part to release the blog.
Keep in mind that I am totally non-artistic and know nothing about taking pictures beyond point and snap, but I prefer to see a whole flower. The color of the rose is gorgeous.
Thanks for the comment. No, I'm not holding it captive. However, it's much more encouraging to post things if I know people are actually reading them...and I know best if there are comment. :)
Thanks! I actually have the red one and the pink one from an earlier post along with one more up on the wall. They're about 10" square pictures in 16x20 frames.
I LOVE the flower pics. Where did you take them and what type of camera did you use? I would definitely have something like that hung up on my walls. It is a modern look for sure, which I don't always appreciate, but I like seeing only parts of the flower when it is this close. I think it forces you to look at smaller details that you might overlook when you see the entire flower. jen
Jen, I took the red and pink pictures in my backyard. The dandelion picture was in my parents' backyard. I used my new Nikon D50 digital camera with a 60mm macro lens. I've had lots of fun playing with it since I don't have to pay for the pictures to be developed!

I like the flower photo. The water droplets give it a nice effect. I'm not so big on the dandelion one, though.
I like the water droplets too, but I wish more of it was in focus =).
