This is looking left. As you can see, the playroom overlooks the backyard.

We use this wall to hang some of the many pieces of art that Nathan brings home from church. I think we need to add an extra line or two.

Here you can see the backdoor as well as the window going back into the dining room. This was originally an exterior window. Now, however, there is no glass...just a window frame.

very cute! We have a room that WILL BE a playroom eventually, but it's downstairs, so it may wait until Kate (and following siblings) are old enough to play downstairs by themselves. Love the artwork line. Very hip!
Love Nathan's art collection!
Maybe we'll have to start occasionally showcasing some of his artwork over on the kiddos blog.
I think it's great that you have a playroom, if only for a place to store all of those toys!! So did you put a mirror in front of a fireplace?
No, there's no fireplace. You can see in the top picture that it's just a fake brick strip. We guess that the people that lived here had some sort of fake fireplace there...but who knows. The mirror is off the dresser that we use as a changing table. It's been living on the floor for quite a while. Nathan and now Caroline have really enjoyed having a mirror on their level.
