nursing cover
Just before Sara was born, I made a nursing cover. I had thought about buying one when Caroline was born, but just couldn't see spending $30 or more on one. This time, however, I found some time to make one. I used a piece of fabric that I already had so I didn't even have to spend much. I used a tutorial at the made by the mama monster blog. I also added terry cloth corner pockets (also from material I already had). So far it has worked well.

Looks great! I received one as a gift from Liz and I enjoyed it thoroughly, but they do seem a bit high priced for what they are!
Yours is really cute.
Super cute!!!!!! I have a HH & I love it, too. I was just at another pregnant mommy's house & she's in process of making one. I may just send her the link. She was just making it up out of her head. (and, she only hand sews!) Yikes! Now you have a great idea for a baby shower gift.
hand sews?? what's that??
yeah -- that's what I said! She had a bad first experience w/ a sewing machine, but I encouraged her to try again. . .
