I used to think that I hated roaches. I was wrong. What I hate more is killing roaches. If I know one is running around, I can ignore it...pretend it's not there. But when I have to kill it...and then clean it up...oh, my stomach turns...it's nasty...HATE. I just had to kill one. It made the mistake of crawling on my child's clean laundry. I beat it to a pulp. With my shoe. I've found that my sandal is the best for the job because it doesn't have grooves in the bottom. It's much easier to clean that way. Anyway...back to beating a roach to a pulp. Yeah, so I beat the roach to a pulp. The problem with that, though, is that it left a nasty mess on my carpet. So now I'm off to clean it up with the Resolve that's been soaking in. I know you wanted to know.
So...what do you hate?

I empathize completely, I hate roaches! I am so proud to hear that you took care of it though, I usually have to scream for Dan!
Oh...if Matt would have been here I would have had him right on it. I only do it when I have to.
I HATE picking snails off plants. When I have to do it, it gives me serious hibee jibees.
um, roaches are pretty high up there on my list, too. it seems like the things always scare me at night time when I'm up really late & a) shouldn't make a lot of noise & b) can't get Josh! I used to be much cooler about them, until I thought about roaches in my food. So, I really get the heebie jeebies if I find the things in the kitchen.
On a bug note: Josh has used that spray it yourself home pesticide stuff and it WORKS! Just FYI.
Hate is better than a total irrational fear. I was using our laptop in my lap and one of the rubber grip strips from the bottom of the computer ended up sticking to my leg and I flipped because I thought it was a bug. Jeff still makes fun of me.
Did you use the left sandal or the right one? I only ask because left shoes always work better for killing bugs.
I'm not entirely sure...but it MUST have been the left since he was killed so very well!
