Lisa made these hats for Nathan, Caroline, and Sara.

Norm made this puzzle shelf for Caroline. It will hold two puzzles per shelf. Notice the inset picture of the dovetailed joints.

Handmade Gifts Given
This Rice Heat Therapy Bag was made for Nathan's teacher, Mrs. Jackson.

Caroline and Kaitlin received coordinating aprons and chef hats. I think these are my favorites of everything I made.

I made this purse for the gift swap with my mom's side of the family. As it turns out, it now lives at my house. Funny how things turn out...but it will get used!

This quilt made for Mema (my mom's mom) has handprints from everyone in the family, a circle for each person who is no longer with us, and a heart for Mema.

Erin asked for a "Not a Paper Cup" for Christmas. I made cozies to go with it. There are eight pictures but only four cozies. Each one is reversible.

super cute!
I love the aprons & hats.
And, I made a rice therapy bag, but didn't gift it. I couldn't ever find the right fabric combination, so I tossed it out of the window!! Yours are beautiful. I think I need more fabric options in my world.
did you do a piping on the buttercup bag? And did you make anything larger beside the strap? any other advancements?
Yes, I did add piping. I like how it separates the two sections since they are the same fabric (and dark, too). I didn't change any other sizes. I think if I make another one, I might add a gusset. I think I prefer to have a flat bottom.
...and I'm glad you like the fabrics. That is the hardest part to me...picking fabrics.
i love the coffee cup idea! and the aprons & hats are adorable!! you are so talented.
And that quilt had to be a big project! Are the hands appliqued or quilted? What a wonderful memorable idea!!
I've got to figure out how to do a gusset on any old bag. I have made one bag w/ a gusset, I think. but, I was following explicit instructions on the pattern.
The handprints are appliqued. That's the part that took the longest. Well, after waiting on people to send me their handprints and fabrics. :) It actually needs a little more quilting if it's going to be washed, but I haven't gotten it back yet or figured out what kind of quilting to do. Right now, it's just quilted around the outside of each square. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
Very cool stuff Jennifer. Especially like the aprons and hats.
