the great exodus

One of the strange things that happens after you have a baby (at least to me) is a mass exodus of hair. It's just crazy! For about a month now, every time I wash my hair, I have handfulls come out. I'm not talking 10 or 20 strands. I'm talking 50 or 70 or 100. Nobody ever talks about these kinds of strange things!

Did you hair get thicker during pregnancy?

Well, I guess that it did since that is what is "suppose" to happen, but I never really noticed. I didn't have a lot falling out, though. I guess I did notice that...this time around.

I noticed no great change before/during/after in the matter of my hair. But, there are definitely other areas of difference.

So...what "unusual" things have happened to you, Liz?

I think I got one of those red marks on my nose during pregnancy -- really unimpressive for SURE! Of course, the other two major areas of difference of me are my baby feeding machines (who KNOWS how they'll look after I stop nursing -- YIKES!) and my belly. My scar isn't too bad, but it's still there. The muscle tone is gone and the muscles feel really weird when I attempt to exercise.
