nothin' doin'
Well, nothing has changed since last week. So...we're in the same holding pattern. If the baby has not come by next Friday (when my doctor will be back) then we will go over to the hospital for a non-stress test and an ultrasound to make sure the baby and fluid levels are ok and then keep holding if all is fine. I would say that I don't think that we'll make it to Friday, but then, I didn't think we would make it to today either. At this point, I don't have any intelligent guesses.

So, how long will she let you wait it out? Next week would be 7 days? will she let you go 10 days or . . .
I know you don't want to think about waiting that many days. I was just wondering if she/you had talked about induction. Well, we're still praying for you.
I just realized that today is your actual "due date." Friday the 13th. Then I remembered that Lauren was due on a "Friday the 13th" and the nurse actually asked me if I wanted to change the date one day earlier or later b/c of superstition!!!! Good grief!
Did you go early or late with Nathan or Caroline? Hang in there. I'm sure you are so ready. Here is one bright side: you probably don't have 7 other friends pregnant at the same time with you...all of whose due dates were AFTER yours and yet YOU are the only one left... (Yes I'm ranting and I know it =)...it happened with Lauren and it was SO frustrating. One girl went 2 weeks early--and me 10 days late -- so I figured I ended up pregnant nearly a MONTH longer!!!) It seemed so unfair.
She hasn't said how long she will let me wait. She would have induced me this past week if I had wanted her to do so. And originally, she said that she would induce me next Friday if the baby hadn't already come. But I don't want to be induced if I can help it, so that's why the plan is to just check on things.
j.j., I was 3 weeks early with Nathan and 3 days early with Caroline. I truly never expected to go past my due date!
I'm telling you, she's waiting for your birthday.
